Box 330708 Maimi, F1. 33133 Dear Mr. Grassier This is to advise you that we are planning to hold a Continuing Education Street Fair on Saturday, October 21, 1978 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Fuller Street, one block north of Commodore Plaza and between Main Street and Grand Avenue. The purpose of this fair is to bring educational experiences to our community in a very informal setting and to acquaint the general public with the educational programs and activities conducted by the Department of Continuing Education at the New World Center Campus. At the fair, the public will not only have the opportunity to sample some of our courses, but will also be able to meet and counsel with some of our faculty members. Supervision and security will be provided by MDCC faculty and staff members. Personnel from the Police Department will also be requested. We are petitioning from the merchants of Fuller Street their consent to this event on the day and time specified above and we have contacted the Traffic Section of the City of Miami Police Department and we are coordinating this special educational fair with them. I request that you bring this matter before the City Commission at its next meeting and trust that they give their approval by resolution.
