WHEREAS, Resolution 78-644, dated October 12, 1978 authorized the City Manager to execute an agreement for the "Trade Fair of the Americas - Export '79," allocating funds for said project from the Contingent fund, not to exceed $200,000 and authorizing the transfer of $350,000 from the Convention Center Bond Fund to the Trade Fair Fund on a loan basis; and WHEREAS, Resolution 78-658, dated 10/24/78 authorizes and directs the City Manager to establish a new Trust and Agency Fund entitled, "Trade Fair of the Americas - Export '79," and WHEREAS, it is estimated that revenues in the amount of $700,000 from various governmental agencies and $625,000 in proceeds from rentals and other activities will be received by the Trade Fair of the Americas - Export '79 project; NGJ, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLDRIDA: Section 1. The following Trust and Agency Fund is hereby established and resources are hereby appropriated as described herein: FUND TITLE: Trade Fair of the Americas - Export'79 RESOURCES: $500,000 - State, local, federal governmental agencies $200,000 - City of Miami- Cash Obligation $625,000 -Revenues from rental and other Trade Fair Activities. APPROPRIATION: $1,325,000 Section 2, All ordinances or Farts of ordinances insofar as they are inconsistent or in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
