October 27, 1978 FILE. ,:, ! ,c1- Regular Agenda Item City Commission Meeting:11-9-78 Capital Improvement Program and Appropriations Ordinance Amendment t'or Capital Budget •I,:Lc5tRCS: The agenda item pertains to the 1978-1984 Capital Improvement Program as follows: 1, a public hearing on the Capital Improvement Program and a resolution approving in prin- ciple the Capital Improvement Program. the first reading of the amendment to the appropriations ordinance #8716 to officially appropriate funds for the fiscal year 1978- 1979 Capital. Budget. It is requested that the second reading of the amendment to the Appropriations Ordinance take place at the Commission meeting on Planning and Zoning, the evening of November 9, 1978. If the first and second readings of the Appropriations Ordinance Amend- ment take place on November 9, 1978, the Public Works Department and the Fire Department can proceed with their plans to award con- tracts for several Capital Budget projects in December. The CIP has been approved by the City Manager. On October 24, 1978, it was presented to the City Commission in a Committee of the Whole Meeting. On November 1, 1978, the C1P will be submitted to the Planning Advisory Board for review and approval.
