Plagler Street Miami, Florida 33130 Lear Mr► Lieberman: 1 Withregard to the several points raised in your letter to me of November 30, 1978 concerning your client Mr. Victor Logan and his Summer Boat Show at Coconut Grove Exhibition Center,- the following responses are presented in the order raised. 1s 0ur review of the transcript of the City Commission meeting of November 9, 1978 reveals that Mr. Logan requested of the City Commission that he be given the same consideration as Mr. Perl with regard to the sixty (60) day protect -periods both before and after his Summer Boat. Show. There seems to have been no response to this request in the form of either a Motion, a Resolution, or an expression of any intent to include that provision in the Motion which was passed (Motion No..78-717)• It is the City Administration position that Resolution No. 35441 therefore governs in thisparticular instance and that there can be no exception to the provisions of this Resolution except as may be made through :specific long-term Agreements With regard to the matter of the $5-,000 performance bond requirement, that:provision was placed in , Mr. Logan's contract because it is the same require- ment which is being levied against Mr. Perl for his identical event'Our City Property and Insurance Manager advised that there are many bonding agencies in Miami which will write bonds of this size provided the applicant has acceptable financial resources to warrant the risk. 2t66 flea AtAgficaah brRi f5.
