Commission -Meeting) Please place an item on the December 14, 1978 Agenda to ratify and. confirm the actions of the City Manager in accepting the bid and executing a contract for the interior modifications to,the 'Miami Dolphins (Gate 144) Ticket Office at the Orange Bowl Stadium, This action is necessary to confirm the actions taken by authority or Resolution No. 78-531 dated July 28, 1978, which authorized the City ;Tanager to receive bids and award contracts, as necessary so that work will commence accordingly This project was properly advertised, and three bids were received on September 6, 1978. The low bidder, Carl J. Hoenes, Inc., has respectfully withdrawn his bid due to the 60-day time lapse after the date of bid openings. The proposal of MET Construction, Inc, in the amount of a30,774 was the second lowest responsible bid received, The Department of: Public Works reviewed the proposal, and, after discussions With Mr. R. L.
