We have reviewed the agency's program and have found that it will directly provide essential mental health services to the low and moderate income persons residing in the Coconut Grove Neighborhood Strategy Area Making it eligible for Community Development funding. Because of HUD's regulation, which requires a time period for citizens to comment on the environmental review, we did not receive authorization to release funds for the program until November 13. This means that since, the program only received an extension from Federal Revenue sharing for the month of October, the program does not have any source of funding for thr. An alternate source of g shouldebelfound rst wtoo Wcover thiseeks of vt oeweek period, approximately $5,000 0.00. It is requested that the City Commissioners be asked to approve this resolution on December 14, 1978, so that funding for this agency will not. be interrupted. /rjf
