Mr, Rubin Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and is a member" of Downtowh'Busihessmeh s was formed, The Council is Presideht of the the State of Florida Diabetes Board. He was recently appo'nted to the Metro Intergovernmental Policy Committee. Mr. Rubin was appointed to the Off -Street Parking Board lh 1963 where he currently serves in the position of Vice Chairman; and WHEREAS, the efforts, time and leadership exhibited by Mr. Rubin have contributed to the growth and development of this area; and WHEREAS, Mr, Rubin was reappointed to the Off -Street Parking Board on October 25, 1978 by Off -Street Parking Board Resolution No. 78-580; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Miami that reappointment be confirmed: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE FLORIDA: Section 1. The reappointment of Arnold Rubin to the Off -Street Parking Board of the City of Miami, Florida, for a five year term from December 2, 1978 to December 2,'1983, is hereby confirmed, pursuant to this CITY OF MIAMI Section 23-A.1 of the City of Miami Charter.
