WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated July 5,1977
between the City of Miami and Williams Paving; Company; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed,
and Williams Paving Comnany has furnished the required
documents certifvinr; that all bills for labor and material have
been paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Denartment of public
Works recommend that the completed work be accented and Final
payment made to the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITv OF r,1T.Ar,1T, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by Williams
Paving Company for BUENA VISTA COMMUNITY DEVELO"mENT PAVING
PROJECT - BID "B" - DRAINAGE at a total cost of ¢15!{,,189.73,
is hereby approved. �•� jPP

Section 2. The proper officials ,,F the City•of
Miami are hereby authorized to pay $19,943.99 as Full and
final payment for all work performed and all materials furnished
in connection with BUENA VISTA COMMUNITv DEVELOPMENT PAVING
PROJECT - BID "B" - DRAINAGE.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of February , 1979.

DRAINAGE - Resolution for
Final Payment
(For Commission Meeting of
February 22, 1979)
Williams Paving Company has completed the project
consisting* of constructing a covered ditch drainage
system in an area bounded by N. W. 39-43 Streets
between N. '. !. 2-5 Avenues in conjunction with a
highway improvement r ro,j ect.The on inul contract
amount was $187,623.D0, but the completed contract
amount is $154,189.73, and it was completed on
time.
It is now in order for the Commission to accept the
completed work and authorise final payment, after all
conditions are met.
THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS RECfMMENDS THE ADOPTION
OF A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED wORK AND AUTHOR-
IZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF :'318,943.99 TO WILLIAMS PAVING
