AND 11:30 P.M., IN CONNECTION WITH THE MIAMI WINTER FESTIVAL, SPONSORED BY THE MIAMI VARSITY CLUB, SUBJECT TO ISSUANCE OF PERMITS BY THE POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. N.W. 6th Court between 58th Street and 60th Street is hereby closed to through traffic on February 20 through 25, 1979, between 3:00 P.M. and 11:30 P.M., in connection with the Miami Winter Festival, sponsored by the Miami Varsity Club, subject to issuance of permits by the Police and Fire Departments. Box 330708 Miami, Florida 33133 Dear Mr. Grassie: 1 11' i,110 : e The Miami Varsity Club will be conducting a Miami Winter Festival on February 20-25, 1979 at the Shell City Site. We are requesting that the City of Miami allow us to block off 6th Court from 54th Street down to 60th Street during these days. The Miami Varsity Club is a non profit organization formed for the purpose of promoting _good sportsmanship and to encourage and motivate youth of our community to participate in worthwhile activities while developing into adulthood. In promoting this affair we plan to use the proceeds to develop an athletic scholarship fund for underprivileged youth in Dade County.
