Ordinance Establishing Fees
for Classes in Japanese Culture
(1)
■
Enclosed for your review and forwarding to the Law Department
is an ordinance establishing fees for specialized instructional
classes of Japanese Culture. The proposed classes and fees are:
CLASS ADULT FEES STUDENT FEES
Japanese Tea Ceremony $25.00 $15.00 (under 18 yrs. )
Shorinji Kempo 15. 00 (per mo.) 10.00 (per mo.)
In May of 1978 the existing Trust Fund for the Japanese Gardens
was activated in order to initiate a new program of Japanese Culture.
A nominal fee with revenues going into the above mentioned Trust
Fund is needed for the rejuvenation and upkeep of the facility and
the specialized instruction.
It is, therefore, the recommendation of the Department of Leisure
Services that the ordinance establishing fees for Japanese Culture
classes be adopted.
