IN THE PROPOSED AMOUNT OF $25,240.00 FOR BUENA VISTA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PAVING PROJECT - PHASE ITT AND PUi 11A VISTA SANITARY SEWER MODIFICATIONS - PHASE III, BI:J "C" OF THE PROPOSAL; WITH FUNDS ALLOCATED FROM THE 4T1 YEAR FEDERAL COMMUNITY DE:VELOPI.IEIJ`I' BLOCK GRANT FUND IN THE APICU'IT OF $25,240.00 TO COVER THE CONTRACT COST; ALLOCA`I'I.NJG FROM SAID FUND THE AMOUNT OF V, 776.09 TO COVER THE COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING FROM SAID FUIJD THE AMOUNT OF $506.00 TO COVER THE COST OF SUCH ITEMS AS ADVERTISING, TESTING LA.ORATORIES, AND POSTAGE; AND AUTHORIZING TIIE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM WHEREAS, sealed bids were received February 20, 1979 for BUENA VISTA COMMUIJITY DEVELOPMENT PAVING PROJECT - PHASE III and BUENA VISTA SANITARY SEWER MODIFICATIONS - PHASE III, BID "C"; and WHEREAS, the City 6anager reports that the $25,240.00 bid of Miri Construction, Inc. is the lowest responsible bid for Bid "C" of the Proposal and recommends that a Contract be awarded to said firm; and WHEREAS, the proposed amount of the Contract is to be allocated from the account entitled"4th Year Federal Community Development Block Grant Fund"; NOW,THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION `HE CITYOF "DOCUMENT IN�E' T MIAMI, FLORIDA: � i T N Section 1. Section 2. The amount of $25,240.00 be, and it is hereby allocated from the account entitled "4th Year Federal Community Development Block Grant Fund" to cover the cost of said Contract. Meeting) PHASE III AND BUENA VISTA ,SAIITARY SEWER MODIFICATIONS - 11 Bids were received February 20, 1979 to modify the existing Sanitary Sewer System using 8-inch extra strength vitrified clay pipe, together with all necessary appurtenances, located on N.W. 44 Street between N.W. 3 Avenue and N.W. 5 Avenue and on N.W. 5 Avenue between N.W. 43 Street and N.W. 45 Street. As reflected in the Tabulation of Bids, the $25,240.00 bid of Miri Construction, Inc. is the lowest responsible bid for Bid "C" of the Proposal. Funds have been allocated under the "Community Development Program" for the estimated amount of the Contract, for Project Expense, and for such items as Advertising, Testing Laboratories, Postage.
