for corresponding City cash match requiremehta; ad
WHEHAS, the'Nationa1 ComMittee: Arts for the Handiceppedi
n educatiotial affiliate of the John P., kehhedy Center for the
Performing Arts, has approved ,a grant award of $4,000 tothe
City of Miami for a "Very Special Arts Festival (3rd Year)*; arid
WHEREAS, the City is able to contribute $4,000 in tish
match for the "Very Special Arts Festival," from the City cash
match fund, as required;
NON, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY ME COMMISSION OF TH4 CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 8719, adopted Octo-
ber 26, 1977, as amended, is hereby further amended in the follow-
ing particulars:
"Section 1. The following Trust and Agency Funds are
hereby established and resources are hereby appropriated,
as describedherein:

Very Special Arts Festival

The National Committee: Arts for the Handicapped, has
allocated $4000.00 to the City of Miami for "The Very
Special Arts Festival". These funds were allocated
with the expectation that the City provide a cash match
of $4000.00. The projects total budget is $8000.00.
The grant period is January 1, 1979 - December 31, 1979.
These funds will be used to provide a therapeutic and
culturally enriching arts program for the physically
disabled, mentally handicapped, and economically disad-
vantaged individuals. Programs are offered mornings
and afternoons.
