WHEREAS, the CitY tonmiteloti adopted Oftlinaftte Not 8710 on October 265. 1917 establishing ttAtitirttA and tppropriatibte for grant funds anticipated by the City 6f Mitthil 16rida, arid for corresponding City cash match requiremehta; ad WHEHAS, the'Nationa1 ComMittee: Arts for the Handiceppedi n educatiotial affiliate of the John P., kehhedy Center for the Performing Arts, has approved ,a grant award of $4,000 tothe City of Miami for a "Very Special Arts Festival (3rd Year)*; arid WHEREAS, the City is able to contribute $4,000 in tish match for the "Very Special Arts Festival," from the City cash match fund, as required; NON, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY ME COMMISSION OF TH4 CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 8719, adopted Octo- ber 26, 1977, as amended, is hereby further amended in the follow- ing particulars: "Section 1. The following Trust and Agency Funds are hereby established and resources are hereby appropriated, as describedherein: FUND TITLE: RESOURCES: APPROPRIATION: Very Special Arts Festival (3rd. The National Committee: Arts for the Handicapped, has allocated $4000.00 to the City of Miami for "The Very Special Arts Festival". These funds were allocated with the expectation that the City provide a cash match of $4000.00. The projects total budget is $8000.00. The grant period is January 1, 1979 - December 31, 1979. These funds will be used to provide a therapeutic and culturally enriching arts program for the physically disabled, mentally handicapped, and economically disad- vantaged individuals.
