WHEREAS, sealed bids were received ?March 20, 1979
for ORANGE BOWL - PAINTING AND MAINTENANCE - 1979; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the
$83,300 bid of Bowed Painting is the lowest
responsible bid and recommends tha.t.a contract be awarded
to said firm; and
WHEREAS, the proposed amount of the contract is to
be allocated from the account entitled "Orange Bowl Enterprise
Fund";
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: "DOCUMENT INDEX
Section 1. The March 20, 1979 bid of Ii?EMnNO.
Painting; in the pronged amount of $83, 300 '7or the
project entitled ORANGE BOWL - PAINTING AND MAINTENANCE - 1979,
namely base bid of the proposal, is hereby accepted at the
price stated therein.
Section 2. The amount of $83,300 be, and it is
hereby,allocated from the account entitled "Orange Bowl
Enterprise Fund" to cover the cost of said contract.
Section 3. The amount of $9,163 is hereby
allocated from the aforesaid fund to cover the cost of project
expense.

allocated from the aforesaid fund to cover the cost of

Commission Meeting)
Bids were received March 20, 1979 for the cleaning and
painting of certain structural steel members of the
stadium and making such repairs to the steel members as
are necessary.
As reflected in the tabulation of bids, the $
bid of is the lowest
responsible bid for base bid of the proposal.
Funds have been allocated under the "Oran^;e Bowl Enterprise
Fund" for the estimated amount of the contract, for project
expense, and for such items as advertisin:;, testing labora-
tories, postage.
