A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A SECOND ONE YEAR
EXTENSION OF THE DEVELOPMENT ORDER AUTHORIZED
BY CITY COMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 75-135.
WHEREAS, the South Florida Regional Planning Council;, the
City of Miami, and the owners of Claughton Island, entered into
a Memorandum, of Understanding which provided in pertinent part
that "in the event that the owner/developer has not commenced
physical work of the land encompassed herein, then the Development
Orderwill expire three years from the date of final action by
the Florida Land and Water Adjudicatory Commission"; and
WHEREAS, because of the severe recession in the South Florida
building industry which prevented the owner/developer from com-
mencing construction, the City Commission pursuant to Resolution
No 78-319 extended the obligation of the owner/developer tocom-
mence construction for one (1) year; and
