WHEREAS, the Miami planning Advisory Board, et its meeting of
January 10, 1979, item #4(b), following an advertised Hearing,
adopted Resolution No. i'AS 779 by a 5-0 vote recommending the
application of a Zoning district as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after careful consideration and
due deliberation of this matter, deems it advisable and in the
best interests of the City of Miami and its inhabitants to amend
said Ordinance as hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA!
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 6871, the Comprehensive Zoning
Ordinance for the City of Miami be, and it is hereby, amended by
applying Transit Station Interim Zoning Districts to certain areas
surrounding transit station sites, subject to a one year limitation,
shown.on the attached mapa, and by reference thereof trade a part of
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance No.' 6871 for the City of Miami as follows:
1) Douglas Road Station Area, generally bounded by South
Dixie Highway, City limits (SW 38th Ave,' Orange Street,
SW 39th Avenue), alley approximately 145' north .of Bird
Road, SW 37th Court, rear lot line of properties abutting
the north side of Bird Road, SW 37th Avenue, a line
107.6' north of and parallel to Bird Road, SW 36th Court,
a line 169.7' north and parallel to Bird -Road-, SW 36th
Avenue, a line 109.5' north :of and parallel to. Bird Road,
and SW 35th Avenue (.extended southeasterly);
2) Coconut Grove Station Area, generally bounded by SW 30th
Avenue, SW 28th Lane.,' properties abutting the west side
of SW 29th Avenue, properties abutting the nortb side of
SW 27th Terrace, SW 2Sth Court, SW 2701 Street, SW 27th
Court, a line 2O0' north of an4 parallel to SW 27th Street,
SW 27th Avenge, SW 26th Dana, alley, at rear of prupertiea
