PRIATIONS ORDINANCE; BY INCREASING THE APPROPRIATION FOR THE TRUST AND AGENCY FUND ENT11LEN "HEAVY EQUIPMENT SERVICE FACILITY" IN THE •AMOUNT OF $200,000 FROM THE REVOLVING FUND WITHIN THE GENERAL OBLIGATION CAPITAL PROJECTS FUNDS; CONTAINING A REPEALER AND SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND DISPENSING WITH THE REQUIREMENT OP READING THE SAME ON TWO SEPARATE DAYS BY A VOTE OF NOT LESS THAN FOUR. FIFTHS OF THE MEMBERS Of TRE_commiutp, WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Ordinance No, 8719 on October 26, 1077, establishing resources and appropriations for grant funds anticipa- ted by the City of Miami, Florida and for corresponding City cash -match requirements; and WHEREAS) said ordinance appropriated a grant award. of $2,710)050 from the United States Department of Commerce, Economic Development Adminis- tration for the Heavy Equipment Service Facility; and WHEREAS, the unanticipated cost of relocating the Auto Pound and related costs will result in an overrun of $200,000; and WHEREAS, $200,000 is available in the General Obligation Capital Projects Funds, Revolving fund and can be appropriated into said Trust and Agency fund to cover the cost overrun; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 8719, adopted October 26, 1977, as amended, is hereby further amended as follows: 1/ "Section 1. The following Trust and Agency Funds are hereby established and resources are hereby appropriated as described herein: * * FUND TITLE: RESOURCES: Heavy Equipment Service Facility Federal Grant • United States Department of Commerce: Economic Development Administration General Obliption CaRital Projpcts funds -fund IpPROPRIATION: Heavy Equipment Service Facility $2t710,050 $ 200 000 / Words and/or figures stricken through shall be deleted. This ordinance is .hereby' declared to ba an emergency Measure on thegrounds of -urgent public need for the preServation of peace,- -health, safety, tnd-property of the City of Miamil,and upon the further ground - of the necessity to make -the required and necessary payment of interest and principal on its 'debts, necessary andrequired purchases of goods and sup, plies, and to generally carry on the functionsand duties of -its muncipal affairs. Section 5. The requirement of reading this ordinance en two sepa- tate days is hereby dispensed with by a vote of notless than four -fifths of the members of the Commission.
