B868, ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 28, 1978, THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1079, AS AMENDED, RY INCREASING THE APPROPRIATION FOR SPECIAL PRO- GRAMS AND ACCOUNTS, CONTRIBUTION TO ENTERPRISE FUND, rROM RENTAL PROPERTIES, IN AN AMOUNT OF $258,602; BY INCREASING ANTICIPATE6 REVENUES, :SOURCES OTHER THAN AD VALOREM TAX, BY THE SAME AMOUNT, THEREBY ELIMINATING RENTAL PROPERTIES FROh1 THE ENTERPRISE FUND REVENUES; AND BY INCREASING ANTICIPATED REVENUES, ENTERPRISE POND, CONTRIBUTION FROM GENERAL FUND, IN THE SAME AMOUNT; CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION AND A SEVERARILITY CLAUSE. WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Ordinance No. 8858 on September 281978, establishing revenues. and appropriations for the City of Miami, FLorida, for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1979; and WHEREAS, said ordinance reflected an amount of $258,602 from Rental Properties as an Enterprise Fund revenue; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that these revenues should be budgeted in the General Fund to make said revenues available for other unrelated enterprise activities; and WHEREAS, the amount of $258,602 for Rental Properties, Enterprise fund, in Ordinance No. 8858', can be transferred to the General Fund, Special Programs and Accounts, Contribution to Enterprise Fund; NOW THEREFORE, RE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 88858 adopted September 28, 1978, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars: I / 1/ Words and/or figures stricken through shall be deleted. This amount will then be transferred to the General Fund, Special Programs and Accounts, Contribution to Enterprise FUnd. This change is con tent with General Accounting principles where an Enterprise Fund should provide services and, as such, tarn revenues and incur,ekpentes. The Rental Properties Enterprise does not fit these criteria. Hence, the City's external auditors .
