A RESOLUTION, GRANTING'APPROVAL OF GOVERNMENTAL
USE TO CONSTRUCT AND OPERATE FIRE 'STATION ,.ab4,
ON LOT 8, LOTS.9 THRU 12 LESS WEST 10 FEET
THEREOF, AND NORTH 75 FEET OF LOT 13-1/2,
BLOCK 85S, MIAMI HEIGHTS (5-29), BEING APPROXI-
MATELY 160-180 S.W. 11TH STREET/1105-1133 S.W.
2ND AVENUE, PER ARTICLE XXI-2, SECTION 3(1-2),
OF THE CITY COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE NO.
6871, AS AMENDED, ZONED R-4 (MEDIUM DENSITY
MULTIPLE), PROPOSED TO BE REZONED TO GU
.(GOVERNMENTAL USE), SUBJECT TO THE TERMS AND
CONDITIONS AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH.
WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board,
its meeting
of April 4, 1979, Item #1(b), following an advertised hearing,
adopted Resolution No. PAB 15-79 by a 6 to 0 vote (2 members
absent), recommending construction and operation of Fire Station
No 4; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that the establishment of
this Governmental Use is (a) compatible with the surrounding area;
(b) in conformity with the Miami Fire Protection Rescue and `Emer-
gency Service Master Plan 1977-1987; (c) can service the area
using established traffic circulation patterns;
beneficial impact on adjacent properties and property values;
(e) in scale with adjacent development; (f) provides good urban
design; and (g) is essential for fire protection for this area of

Miami, as per plan on file; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission dee ITkM ridwisa • e in the
interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami and its in-
habitants to grant this approval of Governmental Use, subject to
certain conditions hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY

Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance No. 6871, as amended, zoned R-4

mental Use) , subject to landscaping, 'site and development plan
approval by the Planning Department, be and the same is hereby
granted.`
