AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 6871, THE
COMPREHEN8IVE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF
MIAMI, tY CORRECTING THE SPACING romuu FOR
SUILDING SITING IN THE 8Pb-1, CENTRAL ISLAND
DISTRICT, SY DELETING PARAGRAPH (a), SUS -SECTION
(6), SECTION 10, ARTICLE XXI*3, SPD-1 CENTRAL
ISLAND DISTRICT, AND IN LIEU THEREOF SUBSTITUTING
A NEW PARAGRAPH (a), AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH; BY
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, CODE SECTIONS, OR PARTS
THEREOF IN CONFLICT; AND C0NTA/NINC2 A SEVEPABILITY
PROVISION.
WHEREAS, the Miami Planting Advisory Board, at its meeting
of February 21, 1979, Item No. 1, following an advertised hearing,
adopted Resolution No, PAB 12-79, by a 4 to 1 vote (1 member
absent), recommending an Amendment to Ordinance No, 6871, as
hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission after careful consideration of
this matter deems it advisable and in the best interest of the
general welfare of the City of Miami and its inhabitants to grant
the recommended Amendment, as hereinafter set forth;
NOV, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 6371, the Comprehensive Zoning
Ordinance for the City of Miami, be and the same is hereby amended
by correcting the spacing formula for building siting in the
SPD-1, CENTRAL ISLAND DISTRICT, by deleting Paragraph (a), Sub-
section (6), Section 10, ARTICLE XXI-3, SPD-1 CENTRAL ISLAND DISTRICT
and in lieu thereof substituting a new Paragraph (a) to read as
follows;
(a) Open Space requirement adjacent to primary walls.
Adjacent to primary walls, minimum open space
shall be as required by the formula D.6 2$ L/10,
where D is distance in feet, $ is number ef storie$.
and 14 is effective horizontal building length,
Section 2. That all laws or parts of laws in conflict
herewith be and the tame are hereby repealed insofar as thy
are in conflict.
Section Should any part or provision of this Ordinance
be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid,
