EMBER 30, 1979, AS AMENDED; BY INCREASING THE APPROPRIA* TION r:OR THE 'GENERAL FUND, DEPARTMENT OP SOLID WASTE,IN THE AMOUNT OF $84,000; BY INCREASING ANTICIPATED REVENUES, SOURCES OTHER THAN AD VALOREM TAX, IN THE SAME AMOUNT; FOR THE PURPOSE OE INCREASING THE APPROPRIATION FOR LOT CLEAR- ING PEES; CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION AND A SEVERA= BILITY CLAUSE. WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Ordinance No, 8858 on September 28, 1978, establishing revenues and appropriations for the City of Miami, Florida, for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1979; and WHEREAS, the Department of Solid Waste reports an increase of $34,000 in Lot Clearing expenses and anticipated Lot Clearing revenues for the 1978-79 fiscal year; and WHEREAS, the amount of $34,000 in increased anticipated Lot Clearing revenues can be appropriated into the General Fund, Department of Solid Waste, to provide for payment of Lot Clearing expenses; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Sections 1 and 6 of Ordinance No. 8858, adopted Septem- ber 28, 1978, as amended, are hereby further amended in the following particu- lars: 11 "Section 1. Currently, these fees are accounted for in a separate revolving fund. ; it has been recommended that projected charges for lot clearing fees be.appropriated into the General Fund and the, corresponding reeeipt of.fees'be identified as reve. nue, The attached proposed ordinance appropriates an amount of $34,000 into the .General'Fund, Solid Waste Department, to provide for an increase in the appropriation for lot clearing expenses, and increases anticipated lot clearing revenues by an equal amount.
