IN THE PROPOSED AMOUNT OF $208,685 'FOR COCONUT GROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PAVING PROJECT.- PHASE II; WITH FUNDS ALLOCATED FROM THE 4TH YEAR FEDERAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK. GRANT FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $208,685 TO. COVER THE CONTRACT COST; ALLOCATING FROM SAID FUND THE AMOUNT OF $14,608 TO COVER THE COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING FROM SAID FUND THE AMOUNT OF $1,707, TO COVER THE COST OF'SUCH ITEMS AS ADVERTISING, I'ESTING LABORATORIES, AND POSTAGE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ",A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM WHEREAS, sealed bids were received May 30, 1979 for COCONUT GROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PAVING PROJECT - PHASE II; and WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $208,685') bid of T & N Construction -Company, Inc. is the lowest responsible bid -and recommends that a contract be awarded to said .firm -;"and: WHEREAS, the proposed amount of the contract is"to allocated from the account.entitled "4th Year Federal Community be Development .Block Grant Fund"; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF MIAMI,.FLORIDA: Section,1. CommisSion-Meeting)' Bids were received May 30, 1979 for the construction of asphaltic pavement concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, a covered ditch drainage system, and landscaping, in the area of: New York Street from Day Avenue to Bird Avenue; Hibiscus Street from Day Avenue to Shipping Avenue; Shipping Avenue from Hibiscus Street to New York Street. As reflected in the tabulation of bids, the $208,685.00 bid of T & N Construction Company, Inc. is the lowest responsible bid for total bid of the proposal.
