WHEREAS, eight (8) proposals were' received from prospective

acceptable and thereby in the City's best interest in entering into
agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept the
proposed bid from Sandy Skates, Inc., for the operation of
outdoorrollerskating concession at the New World
Park.
Section 2. The City Manageris authorized

Pursuant to invitation to bid for concession
rights for the operation of an outdoor roller-
skating ."concession " at the New World Center:-
Bicentennial Park, eight "(8)proposals were
submitted from prospective operations.
Upon evaluation of all proposals, the top bid
from Sandy's Skates, 'Inc., of 25% of the gross
receipts and a $1,000 monthly minimum (the
greater of) was foundto bethe most advanta-
geous to the City in entering into agreement.
The term of this agreement shall be for a
period of one (1) year, with extension .of this
privilege :to be at the discretion of the City
Manager. All improvements and equipment neces
sary for the operation, and electricity," will
be the responsibility of the Concessionaire.

family -oriented activity which should be avail-
