WHEREAS, Resolution No. 79-98, on February 22,
authorized the City Manager to submit a grant application to

the U. S. Department of. Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
for the proposed Community Development program during 1979-82,
in accordance with the herein x project allocation which
been approved at duly held public hearings.

WHEREAS, funds have previously been appropriated

Attached for City Commission approval is a resolution
allocating.$690,487_of Community Development funds to
fourteen.(14) social, serVice agencies operating in
Neighborhood Strategy Areas within the City of Miami.
Thesesocial service programs were previously approved
by the City Commission during the public .hearings held
on the 5th,;6th,and . 7th year Community Development.

The attached resolution authorizes the City Manager to
