ENCLOSUREG:
Attached is a copy of the proposed work program and budget for the New, Washington
Heights Community Development Conference for the period July 1, 1979 through
June 30, 1980, submitted for review and approval by the'City Commission. This
material has been developed jointly by the staffs of the New 'Washington Heights
office, the Department of Citizen Services, and the Office of Trade and Commerce
Promotion, in response to the City Commission's request that the Agency receive
an additional $100,000.00 in C.D. funds for the. next program year.
It is suggested that the additional $100,000.00 be taken from unspent funds from
the City's Interim Assistance Program. This action will allow the Interim
Assistance Program to operate at its current level of service without cutting
their fifth year program, and will bring the funding level for New Washington
Heights to $206,050.00.
