A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK

WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated August 1,"19.77
the City of' Miami and T & N.Construction Co. ,Inc.:;.
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed,"
and T & N Construction Co., Inc.`has furnished the required
documents certifying that all bills for labor and materials
have been paid in fullin connection with the aforesaid contract;
and
WHEREAS`, the City Manager and the Department'. of Public
•
Works recommend that the completed work be accepted and final
payment made to the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION" OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by T & N
Construction Co., Inc. for BUENA VISTA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
PAVING PROJECT, (BID "A" - HIGHWAYS) at a total cost of
$339,116.69 is hereby approved.
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of Miami
are hereby authorized to pay $30,682.50 to T & N Construction
Co., Inc. :as full and final payment for all work performed
and all materials furnished in connection with BUENA VISTA
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PAVING PROJECT (BID "A" - HIGHWAYS).

The Department,of Public Works recommends
the adoption of the resolutionaccepting
the completed work and authorizing a final
payment of $30,682..50 to T & N "Construction
Co , Inc. for BUENAVISTA COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT PAVING. PROJECT (BID "A" HIGHWAYS

T '& N Construction Co. , Inc. has completed the project consisting'.
of constructing 1.4.miles of streets including rebuilding
asphaltic pavement, new curbs and,br gutters, sidewalk replacement
and landscaping;; in the area bounded by N.W..2-5 Avenues. between
N.W..39-43 Streets. The original contract amount was for
$346,565.00 but the completed contract amount is $339,116.69,.
and it was completed on time.
It is now in order for the Commission to accept the completed
work and authorize final payment, after all conditions' are met.
