HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-79-0596• • 'SUPPORTIVE DOCUMENTS FOLLOW" RESOLUTION NO. 7 9- 5 9 6 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK PERFORMED BY ED RICKE AND SONS AND LARRY RICKE AND JAMES RICKE (JOINT VENTURE) AT A TOTAL COST OF $1,971,422.48 FOR THE HEAVY EQUIPMENT SERVICE FACILITY - MAINTENANCE BUILDING (2ND BIDDING); AND AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF $48,012,68 WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated October 25,. 1977 between the City of Miami. and Ed Rieke and Sonsand;Larry Rieke and James Ricke (Joint and Ed Venture); and WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed, Ricke and Sons and Larry Rieke and James Ricke (Joint Venture) has furnished the required documents certifying that all bills for labor and materials have been paid in full connection with the aforesaid Works contract; and. WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department of Public recommend that the completed work be accepted and final payment made to the contractor; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA Section 1. The completed work performed by Ed Ricke and Sons and Larry Rieke and James Ricke (Joint Venture) for HEAVY EQUIPMENT SERVICE FACILITY MAINTENANCE BUILDING (2ND BIDDING) ata total cost of $1,971,422.48 is hereby approved. are Section 2. Cather Director rtme f b arks August 31, 1979 "`: B-2717C 1kJz�T° HEAVY EQUIPMENT SERVICE FACILITY MAINTENANCE BUILDING (2ND BIDDING) Resolution for Final Payment PrIrtnENCEs: r�ctol;URtZ : (For Commission Meeting of September 13, 1979) The Department of Public Works recommends the adoption of the resolution accepting the completed work and authorizing a final payment of $48,012.68 to Ed Ricke and Sons and Larry and James Ricke (Joint Venture) for HEAVY EQUIPMENT SERVICE FACILITY MAINTENANCE BUILDING (2ND BIDDING). Ed Ricke and Sons and Larry Ricke and James Ricke (Joint Venture) has completed the project consisting of constructing a complete heavy equipment service facility at N.W. 14th Avenue and 20th Street. The original contract amount was for $2,108,000.00, but the completed contract amount is $1,971,422.48, and it was completed on time. It is now in order for the Commission to accept the completed work and authorize final payment, after all conditions are met.
