A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING $899,543 OF FY'79-80
FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING FUNDS APPROPRIATED BY
PASSAGE OF ORDINANCE NO. 9 000 TO PREVIOUSLY
APPROVED SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES LISTED HEREIN
FOR THE PERIOD FROM OCTOBER 1, 1979 TO SEPTEMBER
30, 1980; FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENTS WITH SAID APPROVED'
SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES.
WHEREAS, the City Commission has indicated its intent to
sup-
port certain social service programs providing service to residents of
the City of' Miami through an allocation of Federal Revenue Sharing funds;
and.

WHEREAS, funds have been previously appropriated by` Ordinance
00 to accomplish this purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
FLORIDA:
Section 1. $899,543 of Federal Revenue Sharing funds pre-
viously appropriated by Ordinance No. 9000 adopted October 17, 1979,
is hereby allocated to those agencies listed herein, for the period from
October 1
1979 to September 30, 1980:

Attached hereto is a resolution allocating $899,543 for the operation of various
social service programs for fiscal year 1979-80.
This resolution reflects the funding decisions made by the City Commission at its
September 25, 1979 meeting.
It should be noted that this resolution allocates funds included in the FY so
Proposed Budget, Special Programs and Accounts and therefore, is dependent upon
the passage of the FY '80 Appropriations Ordinance on second reading which will be
before the City Commission at its October 17, 1979 meeting.
