AT "SUPPORTIVE A TOTAL COST OF $30,235.50 FOR THE ORANGE BOWL - TICKET OFFICE RENOVATION - 1978; AND AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF $3,023.55. DOCUMENTS FOLLOW" WHEREAS there exists a contract dated November 1978 between the City and of Miami and MET Construction-,` Inc.;, WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed, and MET Construction, Inc. has furnished documents certifying that all. bills have been paid in full in connection the required for labor and materials with the aforesaid contract; and WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department of 'Public Works'recornmend that the completed work be accepted and final payment made to the contractor; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: ITEM Section 1 The completed work performed 10.y r ORANGE BOWL- TICKET OFFICE RENOVATION - hereby approved. (For Commission.Meeting of October 11, 1979) The Department of Public Works recommends the adoption of the resolution accepting the completed work and authorizing a final payment of $3,023.55 to MET Construction, Inc. for ORANGE BOWL - TICKET OFFICE RENOVATION - 1978. MET Construction, Inc. has completed the project consisting of constructing interior modifications to Gate #14 Ticket Office at the Orange Bowl Stadium, including carpentry, millwork, window and light replacement, and carpeting. The original contract amount was for $30,774.00, but the completed amount is $30,235.50, and it was completed on time. It is now in order for the Commission to accept the com- pleted work and authorize final payment, after all conditions are met.
