A. RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK
PERFORMED BY MET CONSTRUCTION, INC. AT
"SUPPORTIVE A TOTAL COST OF $30,235.50 FOR THE ORANGE
BOWL - TICKET OFFICE RENOVATION - 1978;
AND AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF $3,023.55.

there exists a contract dated November
1978 between the City
and

Inc.;,
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed,
and MET Construction, Inc. has furnished
documents certifying that all. bills
have been paid in full in connection

with the aforesaid
contract; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department of
'Public Works'recornmend that the completed work be accepted
and
final payment made to the contractor;

The Department of Public Works recommends
the adoption of the resolution accepting
the completed work and authorizing a
final payment of $3,023.55 to MET
Construction, Inc. for ORANGE BOWL -
TICKET OFFICE RENOVATION - 1978.
MET Construction, Inc. has completed the project consisting
of constructing interior modifications to Gate #14 Ticket
Office at the Orange Bowl Stadium, including carpentry,
millwork, window and light replacement, and carpeting.
The original contract amount was for $30,774.00, but the
completed amount is $30,235.50, and it was completed on
time.
It is now in order for the Commission to accept the com-
pleted work and authorize final payment, after all
conditions are met.
