RESOLUTION NO. 7 9 - 694
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK
PERFORMED BY D.M.P. CORPORATION AT A TOTAL
COST OF $176,217.50 FOR NORTHERN DRAINAGE
PROJECT E-44; AND AUTHORIZING A FINAL
PAYMENT OF $17,621.75
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated January 26,
1979 between the City of Miami and D.M.P. Corporation; and
WHEREAS the work has been satisfactorily completed,
and D.M.P. Corporation has furnished the required documents
certifying that all bills for labor and materials have been
paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department of
Public Works recommend that the completed work be accepted
and final payment made to the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by . . D M P.
Corporation for NORTHERN DRAINAGE PROJECT E-14 4 at a_pai
cost of $176,217.50 is hereby approved.
ITEM NO.
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of
Miami are hereby authorized to pay $17,621.75 to D.M.P.
Corporation as full and final payment for all work performed
and all materials furnished in connection with NORTHERN
DRAINAGE PROJECT E-1414.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of October 1979.

ENCLOSURES;
The Department of Public Works recommends the
adoption of the resolution accepting the
completed work and authorizing a final
payment of $17,621.75 to D.M.P. Corporation'
for NORTHERN DRAINAGE PROJECT E-44.
D.M.P. Corporation has completed the project consisting
of constructing 22 drainage structures in the area
bounded by the north and west City limits, on the south
by N. 36 Street, and on the east by Biscayne Bay, with
two structures outside this area. The original contract
amount was for $188,491.80, but the completed contract
amount is $176,217.50, and it was completed on time.
It is now in order for the Commission to accept the
completed work and authorize final payment, after all
conditions are met.
