RESOLUTION NO. 7 9 - 6 9 I A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE JUNE 20, 1978 AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND PORTER AND GREEN, INC., FOR THE OPERATION OF THE PORTSIDE CAFE NEW WORLD CENTER - BICENTENNIAL PARK, PROVIDING INTER ALIA FOR A REDUCTION OF THE PERCENTAGE RENT FROM 25% to 121/2% OF THE GROSS RECEIPTS RETROACTIVE TO OCTOBER 1, 1978, ESTABLISHING A MINIMUM MONTHLY GUARANTEE OF $250 PER MONTH, REQUIRING A $100 WEEKLY PAYMENT TOWARD PAST INDEBTEDNESS TO BRING ACCOUNT CURRENT (EXHIBIT "F"), ESTABLISHING "EXHIBIT "E" AS A GRAPHIC DESCRIPTION OF THE PORTSIDE CAFE AND AMENDING THE EXCLUSIVITY CLAUSE AS CONTAINED IN THE ATTACHED AMENDATORY AGREEMENT. .•1 • BE IT RESOLVED BY THE, COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF'‘NlIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an Amendment to the June 20, 1978 Agreement with Porter and Green, Inc., for the operation of the Portside Cafe, New World Center.- . Bicentennial Park, providing inter alia for a reduction of the per- centage rent from 25% to 121/2%, retroactive to October 1, 1978, establishing a minimum monthly guarantee of $250, requiring a $100 weekly paymenttoward past indebtedness (Exhibit "F"),- establishing Exhibit . _ as a partof Agreement and amending,- the eXClueiVity,,olause, all as - • - _ contained, in the attached ,ramendatory • agreement.
