Home My WebLink AboutR-79-0765RESOLUTION NO. 79-765 A RESOLUTION -CREATING A SPECIAL COMMITTEE KNOWN AS THE ELECTIONS REVIEW COMMITTEE TO MAKE FINDINGS AND RECOMMEDATIONS REGARDING THE QUESTION OF CONFLICTS OF INTEREST IN EXISTING ELECTION LAWS; APPOINTING CERTAIN MEMBERS THERETO. - BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Pursuant to Section 88 of the City Charter, a Special Committee is hereby appointed to include the following citizens for the purpose of making findings and recommendations to the City Attorney and the City Clerk regarding the question of conflicts of interest in existing election laws and the need for any revision of Chapter 15 of the Code of the City of Miami which deals with the subject of elections: William Colson span del Cerro Jesse McCrary Leslie Pantin-, Sr Dan Paul A;thalie ~Range 1�. T Smith Manuel Vazquez Alice Wainwright "DOCUMENT NDEX ITEM NO. % ,p All Committee members, including those appointed herein, shall serve an indefinite term. Section 2. The herein Special Committee is hereby empowered to establish its own rules of procedure, elect its own chairman, and shall be known as the ELECTIONS REVIEW COMMITTEE. Section 3. The City Attorney and the City Clerk shall serve as nonvoting members of the said Committee. The City Manager shall render such staff support as is required by the Committee. Section 4.
