A RESOLUTION GRANTING A ONE YEAR EXTENSION OF THE CONDITIONAL
USE, AS LISTED IN ORDINANCE NO. 6871, ARTICLE VI, SECTION
2(4-A) (a):, TO PERMIT A RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT OF A PLANNED
UNIT NATURE (PUN) ON LOT 29 .LESS 'V'LY PCIMION FOR E-'.rJ EXPRESSWAY
RIGHT OF WAY; BLOCK 3; WALDIN ACRES (5-68), BEING APPROXIMATELY
3079 N.W. 11TH STREET, AS PER PLAN ON FILE, CONSISTING OF TWELVE
(12) NEW DWELLING UNITS IN SIX (6) STRUCTURES WITH TWO (2) DWELLING
UNITS PER STRUCTURE; ZONED R-2 (TWO-FAMILY).
WHEREAS, Article XXXII of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance No.
6871, permits an extension of a Conditional Use by the City Manager with
approval by the City Commission for a period of one year; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends a one year extension of the
Conditional Use granted by the Zoning Board by Resolution No. ZB 68-79;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The request for a one year extension of the Conditional
Use as listed in Ordinance No. 6871, Article VI, Section 2(4-A) (a), to
permit a Residential Development of a Planned Unit Nature (PUN) on Lot 29
less N'ly portion of E-W Expressway right of way; Block 3; WALDIN ACRES (5-68),
being approximately 3079 N.W. llth Street,as perplan on file, consisting of
twelve (12) new dwelling units in six (6) structures with two (2) dwelling
units per structure; zoned R-2 (Two -Family); be and the same is hereby
granted.
Section 2. This extension of the conditional use shall expire within
six (6) months if not used.

The Department recommends APPROVAL of the subject request for
extension of the Conditional Use for a development of a Planned
Unit Nature (P.U.N.). There have been no significant changes
that would warrant additional consideration of this item.

ENCLOSURES:
ARTICLE XXXII of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance No. 6871
provides that any Conditional Use shall expire six months
after the effective date of the Conditional Use unless a
Building Permit or a Certificate of Use has been issued
based upon the Conditional Use. The Ordinance further provides
that the City Manager may, after review and -determination that
substantial progress has been achieved by the applicant in
terms of project planning, extend the expiration date of the
Conditional Use for an additional period of time not to exceed
one year, subject to approval of the City. Commission.
This Department finds no objection to the granting of the ex-
tension of time for this Conditional Use.
We are requesting the City Attorney's office, by copy of this
memo, to prepare the proper Resolution for this extension.
