Ordinance Revising 39.13.1;
Golf Course Fees
' n t-. S : :;.
It is recommended that Section 39-13.1 of the
City Code be amended to allow Miami Spring
residents the City of Miami resident rate for
annual membership for the Miami Country Club
in Miami Springs, restricting reduced greens
fees rates during the winter season weekday
hours of 8-11 A.M., and revising fees charged
at the City of Miami Golf Course, as per the
attached ordinance.
The Mayor of Miami Springs, as representing the golfing citizenry of
that City, has requested annual membership to the Miami County Club be
available at the same rate as that of City of Miami residents. In that
the City of Miami Springs provides police and fire services for the
golf course, it is recommended that this request be approved.
Restricting reduced greens fees during the winter season weekdays
would allow the City of Miami to realize maximum revenue during these
prime hours. Those affected may pay the full green fee required, or
obtain a starting time before 8:00 A.M. or after 11:00 A.M. In addition,
if there is no one waiting to play, the course supervisor may waive
this restriction and allow said persons regular reduced greens fees.
Revisions to the fees charged are as follows:
1. Summer greens fees $4.00 to $5.00
2. Electric carts $8.50 to $9.50 (plus 50G City tax) for summer months
3. Special package (greens fees and electric cart for two) $11.00 to $13.00
4. Hand carts $1.00 to $1.25
5. Private carts $2.50 to $4.50
6. Addition of a 9-Hole electric cart fee of $5.50 (plus 50C City tax)
