Because of the proximity of the existing trees to the curb along the easterly side of N.E. 2 Ct., it is not feasible to relocate the curb without relocating or destroying the trees. The applicant has requested that they be allowed to move the. curb and gutter and widen the pavement on the westerly side of N.E. 2 Ct., instead of. the easterly side. This department's staff has reviewed this request, and finds that this would be an acceptable alternative to condition "A" of the Zoning Board resolution. All other conditions will be accomplished by the applicant as required. We request that this item be scheduled on the informal agenda for the Zoning Board meeting of January 14,. 1980 for discussion and possible amendment.of the previous Z.B. resolution. Cather, Director City of Miami Dept. of Public Works December 31 1979 ' ' Biscayne Federal accepts the suggestion made by the Board of Trustees of the First Church of Christ, Scientist to realign the curb and gutter on the West side of N.E. 2nd Court from N.E. 18th Street to the present curb and gutter on the Grand Union Parcel; to remove and replant the palm tree on the Northwest corner of the intersectioy of N.E. 18th Street and N.E. 2nd Court; to make whatever other improvements are required according to the City of Miami Code; all of the expenses incurred in connection with the improvements to be paid by Biscayne Federal. We respectfully request that you review this matter with your staff and that you will see fit to recommend acceptance of the suggestion initiated by; the church to accomplish the proposed widening on the West side of N.E. 2nd Court.
