At the presentI time, British Airlays and Pan American Airlines1fly -

brie_ -limited exception. Hqweyer,_if'miam-i wins dualdesignation,
Pan P irerican Would.bOable to keep the route.
London has t-jo airports;: Heathrow and Gatwick. Heathrcw.is-closer
to the city,has-900d: transportation, - tation, and many connecting, and through
flights. Gataick, is . far from London, has poor and exTensiVe ground"
transportation, and very fare connecting flights. Britain - ,has rul6d
that , no nai carriers can use Heathrow. Pan American currently', uses
x.
If mia'lni loses. dual designation, Pan Americanll6ses the route and
Miami lose c s acess -tolleathrow on an American carrier. Service would
probably , got I o 11 East I orn - or Air Florida which do not have lleathrow-rights.:.
If imni is, 1 jarded.dual designation, P an American will keep its. ser-
