A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PLAT ENTITLED BISCAYNE
CT.VIC CEi1TER PLAZA, A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA; AidD ACCEPTING THE DEDICATIONS
SHOk~N ON SAID PLAT; AND AUTHOP~IZIIdG AA1D DIRECTING.
THE CITY MANAGER AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
THE PLAT.
WHEREAS, the City Zoning-Board and-the Department of Public
b~orks have re commended the acceptance of the plat;
I10W, THEP~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF' THE
CITY OP MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The plat entitled BIfiCAYNE CIVIC CENTER PLAZA',
being a resubdivision of TRACT "C" SUNi1YBR00I{,.according to the
plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 42, at Page ~5, and Block ~
:'and a portion of Block 5, SECOND ADDITIOI~1 TO SUNNYBROOI{,.according
to the plat .thereof, .recorded in Plat Book 43, at Page 38, of the
Fublic Records of Dade County, Florida, all lying in the northeast
1/4 of Section 35, Township 53 South, Range 41 East, City of Miami,
Dade County, Florida, which by reference is made a part hereof as
if fu11y incorporated herein and the dedications as shown thereon
together with all existing and future planting, trees a,nd' shrub-
bery on said property, to the perpetual use of the public, are
hereby accepted and confirmed by the City of Miami, Plorida.

approval of the plat by the City Commission

The proposed record plat entitled BISCAYNE CIVIC CENTER PLAZA is a
resubdivision of TRACT "C" SUNNYBRpOK (~12-85),,Block 6 anda portion

(7) The area platted is encumbered by mortgages and the mortgage
holders have executed the plat and ,joined in its dedications.
(8) Prior to the redording of this plat a building permit has
been issued by authority of Ordinance Ito. G871 Article IV,
Section 9(3) and Seetion ll(5) Resolution AIo. 78-1447.
(9) In lieu of the-requirements of Chapter 54, Section 54-20, of
the City of Miami, Florida, Public Health Trust of Dade County
has entered into a contract with the Mira. Construction, Inc.,
for ~~118,773.65 to construct and install'those subdivision
improvesients called for in our attached Exhibit !'B". This.
contract is baclced by a 1000 Performance '.Bond faith Fidelity
and Deposit of 1`•iaryland as surety to guarantee` he completion
of the subdivision. improvements. Copies of the Agreement and
Bond are attached. The plats of Jackson Memorial Hospital
Tract Additions and Biscayne..Cvic Center Plaza are being
r~rocessed jointly.

The Planning Department recommends the following landscape treatment
(attached sketch to be incorporated in E:lhibit B map):
1. Eleven (11) Jacaranda (J. Acutifolia) or Orchid Tree (Bauhinia
Purpu~'ea) to be planted in the parkway along NW 11th Avenue
and twenty-eight (28) Orchid Tree (Bauhinia Purpurea) or
Rosewood (Dalbergia Sissoo) to be planted in sidewalk cuts.
These trees in the parkway and sidewalk cuts to be located
.accord in to the attached landscape plan and conform to the
following standards.
Grade -Florida ~~1 or better
Height - 8 to 10 feet overall
2. The parkway (approximately 5000 square feet) to be planted.
with solid sad Saint Augustine grass of the most advanced
strain.
