AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 1 AND 5 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 9000, ADOPTED OCTOBER 17, 1979, THE
ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1980, AS AMENDED; BY
INCREASING THE APPROPRIATION! FOR THE ENTERPRISE
FUNDS, MELREESE GOLF COURSE, BY $10,000; BY
INCREASING ANTICIPATED REVENUES IN THE SAME
AMOUNT• FROM FY'79 RETAINED EARNINGS; FOR THE
PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FENCING FOR MELREESE GOLF
COURSE; CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION AND A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND DISPENSING WITH THE
REQUIR M ENT OF READING SAME ON TWO SEPARATE DAYS
BY A VOTE OF NOT LESS THAN FOUR -FIFTHS OF THE
MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Ordinance No. 9000 on October
17, 1979, establishing revenues and appropriations for the City of Miami,
Florida, for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1980; and
WHEREAS, recent attempted break-ins have made it imperative that
fencing be provided to enclose the storage barn adjacent to the 16th green at
Melreese Golf Course; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has estimated that the
above mentioned -fencing will cost $10,000; and
WHEREAS, $10,000 is available from Melreese Golf Course, FY'79
Retained Earnings, and can be appropriated into the Enterprise Funds, Melreese
Golf Course, to provide fencing to enclose the storage barn adjacent to the
16th green;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMIS31ON OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Sections 1 and 5 of Ordinance No. 9000, adopted
October 17, 1979, the Annual Appropriations Ordinance for the Fiscal Year
ending September 30, 1980, as amended, are hereby further amended in the
following particulars:l/
"Section 1. The following appropriations are made
for the municipal operations of the City of Miami,
Florida, for the fiscal year 1979-80, including
the payment of principal and interest on all

Section 2. The herein appropriation of $10,000 into the Enterprise
Funds, Melreese Golf Course, from FY'19 Retained Earnings is for the purpose of
providing fencing to enclose the storage barn adjacent to the 16th green.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances insofar as they
are inconsistent or in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are
hereby repealed.
Section 4. If any section, part of section, paragraph, clause,
phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared invalid, the remaining provi-
sions of this ordinance shall not be affected.
Section 5. The requirement of reading this ordinance on two
separate days is hereby dispensed with by a vote of not less than four -fifths
of the members of the Commission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of June , 1980.
