HomeMy WebLinkAboutO-09114LCD/slm AMENDMENT NO. 11 TO ORDINANCE NO. 9019 6/12/80/B-I ORDINANCE N0, 9114 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 9019, ADOPTED NOVEMBER 8, 1979, THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT APPROPRIATIONS ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1980, AS AMENDED, BY ESTABLISHING PROJECT X.C.8. IN THE AMOUNT OF $25,000 TO FUND CITY HALL RENOVATIONS FROM THE FUND BALANCE OF THE FY 1979 REVOLVING FUND; CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION AND A SEVERABI- LITY CLAUSE; AND DISPENSING WITH THE REQUIREMENT OF READING SAME ON TWO SEPARATE DAYS BY A VOTE OF NOT LESS THAN FOUR -FIFTHS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION. WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Ordinance No. 9019 on November 8, 1979, establishing resources and appropriations for the implementation of capital improvements in the City of Miami, Florida for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1980; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that the following renovations are needed at City Hal I: ; and 1) Renovation to improve building security 2) Enclosure for balcony above Commission Chambers 3) Remodeling of receptionist area outside of Mayor's Office WHEREAS, said renovations can be completed by the Department of Building and Vehicle Maintenance; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that an amount of $25,000 will be required to fund said renovations; and WHEREAS, said amount is available from the fund balance of the FY 1979 Revolving Fund and can be appropriated into the Capital Improvement Fund for the purpose of funding City Hall renovations; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MI411, FLORIDA: Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance 9019, adopted November 8, 1979, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:-!/ "Section 1. The following appropriations hereby made by fund and project title include previously authorized projects and fund appropriations for implementation of all municipal capital improve- ments of the City of Miami, Florida. The sources of revenue to support the herein appropriations are hereby identified by fund and project: X. Capital Improvement Fund A. Resources from FY 1979 Fund Balance - Revolving Fund TOTAL RESOURCES C. New Projects (ii) Projects Funded with single Sources of Revenue 8. All ordinances or parts of ordinances insofar as they are inconsistent or in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3. If any section, part of section, paragraph, clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared invalid, the remaining provi- sions of this ordinance shall not be affected. Section 4 . The requirement of reading this ordinance on two separate days is hereby dispensed with by a vote of not less than four -fifths = of the members of the Commission.
