Fosmoen �.�r= September 5, 1980 %- C ty anager Discussion of filling Zoning Board vacancy *sa 11 amy to City Manage r Attached is a memorandum to members of the City Commission from the City Clerk informing them of the resignation of Mr. Ricardo Cruz from the City of Miami Zoning Board. Mr. Cruz's term of office was due to expire on December 31, 1982. In accordance with Section 62-51 of the City Code, this vacancy can be filled by either: 1) The appointment of the alternate member, Mr. Jack Alfonso or 2) Advertising for the vacancy of a full member. His term of office is due to expire on 12/31/82. Section 62-51 of the City Code provides that the unexpired term be filled by either the usual procedure of advertisement, or that the Alternate Board Member be appointed by the City Commission. By copy of this memorandum we are requesting the Agenda Office to schedule this matter for your consideration at the next Regular City Commission Meeting to be held on September 15, 1980.
