CORPORATION AT A TOTAL COST OF $208,5f19.00 .FOR SOUTHERN DRAINAGE PROJECT `Ij 57�1ND 5 AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMEIJT OF SUPPORTIVE $2, DOCUMENTS FOLLOW,, WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated May 13, 1980 between the City of 141ami and D.M.P. Corporation; and WHEREAS, the t�iorit has been satisfactorily completed, and D.M.P. Corporation has furnished the required documents certifying that all bills for labor and materials have been paid in full in connectiori with the aforesaid contract; and WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department of Public Works recommend that the completed work be accepted and .final payment made to the contractor; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OIL THE CITY OF MIAMI, PLORIDA: Section 1. The completed work performed by D.14-P. Corporation for SOUTHERN DRAINAGE; PROJECT E-117 at a total cost of $208,5)49.00 is hereby approved. Section 2. The proper officials of the City of Miami are hereby authorized to pay $2,157.15 to D.M.P. Corporation as full and final payment .for a1.1 work performed and all materials furnished in connection with SOUTHERN DRAINAGE: PROJECT E-47. Cather (For Commission Meeting Director £ of September 15, 1980) oo ks vL The Department of Public Works recommends the adoption of the resolution accepting the completed work and authorizing a final payment of $2,157.15 to U.M.P. Corporation for SOUTHERN DRAINAGE PROJECT E-117. D.M.P. Corporation has completed the project consisting of construction of 23 drainage structures in the area bounded by S. W. 8 Street, N. Prospect Drive, Biscayne Bay, and the westerly City limits)' and 5 structures outside this area. The original contract amount was for $210,998.02, and the completed amount is $2089549.00. It was completed on time. It is now in order for the Commission to accept the completed work and authorize final payment, after all conditions are met.
