' The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and the South Florida Coordinating Council have organized a project entitled South Florida Initiative 180. The purpose of this project is to promote a working trade mission to Europe to explain the unique opportunity of exploiting the Latin American market from the safe haven of a South Florida office or plant location. This trade mission is scheduled to depart for London on November 7, where it will be divided into three groups: one to stay in England, one to go to Germany, and one to Spain. During this mission , each team of delegates will be scheduled a minimum of two appoint- ments per day with Chief Executive Officers of companies in the cities visited. At this point, South Florida Initiative 180 is in contact with U. S. Embassies, Chambers of Commerce, and trade associations to aid in identifying specific companies to call on. In addition, South Florida Initiative 180 will be contacting South Florida executives to learn of contacts already established. The cost to the City for participating in this mission, which will further South Florida's economic growth and diversify our employment base will be $2,850; this price includes air fare, hotel accommoda- tions, and ground transportation.
