Ordinance No. 9109, adopted June 6, 1980, which amended
Ordinance No.
-
9000, erroneously provided an increased
appropriation of
$25,000 for the
Coconut Grove Exhibition Center Enterprise Fund (CGECEF)
from the
Municipal Auditorium Enterprise
Fund (MAEF) instead of
from increased
anticipated revenues fro+n the CGECEF.
The increase did
not affect the
total appropriations amount of Ordinance
No. 9000. This
change is still
in effect; however, the herein
ordinance restores the $25,000 for the
MAEF and reflects the source of
the original increased appropriation
for
the CGECEF as increased anticipated revenue for the facility.

Section 2. The herein appropriation increases of $4 0,000 in the
Orange Bowl and $8,000 in the Marine Stadium and the corresponding increases
in anticipated revenues for the respective facilities are to provide for pro-
jected deficits in the Property Maintenance account of each facility.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances insofar as they
are inconsistent or in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are
hereby repealed.
Section 4. If any section, part of section, paragraph, clause,
phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared invalid, the remaining provisions
of this ordinance shall not be affected.
Section 5. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency
measure on the grounds of urgent public need for the preservation of peace,
health, safety, and property of the City of Miami, and upon the further ground
of the necessity to make the required necessary payments to its employees
and officers, payment of its contracts, payment of interest and principal on
its debts, necessary and required purchases of goods and supplies, and to
generally carry on the functions and duties of its municipal affairs.
Section 6. The requirement of reading this ordinance on two
separate days is hereby dispensed with by a vote of not less than four -fifths
of the members of the Commission.
