The City Manager has submitted a grant application to the State of Florida, Department of Community Affairs to identify voids in service for Handicapped citizens in the City of Miami. This is a continuation of an existing grant which has already iden- tified various voids in services with the attempt being made to have community agencies fill these voids. Acceptance of these funds will not only allow us to continue the above mentioned service but allow us to identify additional methods to help the Handicapped citizens of this City lead as independent life as possible. It is the recommendation of this Department that this Contract be approved. Ailfl/ar cc.
