Maritime Museum Resolution
Carl Kern, Director 3;
Department of Parks
At the last meeting of the Waterfront Board, the Maritime
Museum concept was presented and approved by the waterfront
Board subject to approval by the Parks Department. The
Parks Department recommends to the City Manager's Office
the approval of the `taritime Museum concept for Bicentennial
Park. The approval of the '•taritime 'luseum concept needs to
be submitted to the City Commission in the form of a resolution
perhaps at the December 17th rreetina.
The preliminar, ar)Froval of the concept of a Maritime Museum
does not preclude future more specific review of site plans,
budgets any, leaal arrancement; which will develop dependent
on the capability of the :taritime Museum's ability to raise
funds.
