TRUST FUND.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE. COM,-IISSION OF THE CITY OF 1IlAPII,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Attorney is hereby authorized to
hire the law firm of Paul, Landv, Beiley and Harper, 200
S.E. lst Street, Miami, Florida 331.32, to represent the
City in trial and appellate level work in the case of
Board of Trustee~ of Miami_Cite Emplovees' Retirement System
et al, v. Cit\• of Aliami,_et-al., at a fee not to exceed
$45,000, unless further authorized by the City Commission.
The City will be charged for sucli legal services at the rate
of $60 per hour for junior associates and $1.50 per hour for
named partners of said law firm.
Section 2. An amount not to exceed $45,000 is hereby
allocated from the City's Self -Insurance Trust Fund to cover
the cost of such legal services.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17 day of December, 1980.

It is recommended that the attached Resolution
approving a Legal Agreement with the law firm ,
of Paul, Landy, Beilev & Harper, P.A., to repre—
sent the City in the Board of Trustees of the
Miami City Employees Retirement System, et al.',
vs the City of Mimi, et al., be passed.
The law firm of Paul, Landy, Beiley & Harper, P.A., has been
engaged by the City in the Cates vs. City of Miami case in—
volving pension matters.
The attached Resolution authorizes an agreement with the same
firm in the amount of $45,600, to represent the City in the Board
of Trustees of the Miami City Employees Retirement System, et al.,
vs. the Cite of 1fiami, et al.
