WHEREAS; the Civil Service Board, on_DECEMBER 9 , 1980_, unanimously recommended the approval of employment past the age of 10 for MARCOS A. XOHLY , PUBLICITY WRITER , Department of INFORMATION AND VISITORS, and; WHEREAS, the City Physician has determined that the physical condition of said MARCOS A. KOHLY is satisfactory for continued employment; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI FLORIDA: Section 1. A one (1) year extension of employment past the age of 70 is hereby granted for MARCOS A. KOHLY , PUBLICITY WRITER, Department of INFORMATION AND VISITORS , effective JUNE 131 1980 , through JUNE 13, , 19 81 , with the provision that in the event of a rollback or layoff, MARCOS A. Kohly, Publicity Writer, Office of Information and Visitors, for one year beyond his 70th birthday as per the attached Resolution." At its regular meeting of December 9, 1980, the Civil Service Board considered and 'unanimously approved the request of Marcos A..Kohly, Publicity Writer, Office of information and visitors, to extend his employment for one year beyond his 70th birthday to be effective June 13, 1980 to June 13, 1981, The Board's approval was made with the provision that in the event of a rollback or layoff; Mr. Kohly, rather than a junior employee, would be affected.` The Board noted that the Department Director, Aida T. Levitan, had recommended approval of the extension and that City Physician, Dr. L.A. Toto, had found Mr. Kohly physically qualified to continue em- ployment for the additional year.
