i �Ur\ OF DONALD F. MARCH, JR. , AS SECOND REPRE-
SENTATIVE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI POLICEMEN,
TO THE RETIREMENT BOARD OF THE MIAMI CITY
- L�,r'1W71 EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM FOR A TERM TO
'�1,,ll��yy EXPIRE ON DECEMBER 31, 1982.
WHEREAS, pursuant to court order. the recent amendments
to the Citv's retirement ordinances have not vet become
operative; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Fraternal Order of Police,
Miami Lodge 20, has held a meeting for the purpose of select-
ing a representative to serve upon the Retirement Board of
the Miami City Employees' Retirement System: and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Policemen have duly selected
a member to serve upon said board; and
WIIEREAS, the President of the Fraternal Order of Police,
Miami Lodge 20, has duly communicated the results of said
selection; and
WHEREAS, the Citv Commission desires to confirm the
results of said selection,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I1' RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF !III AMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The reappointment of DONALD F. ?LARCH, JR.,
as the Second Representative of the City of Miami Policemen,
to the Retirement Board of the Miami City Employees' Retire-
ment System is hereby confirmed for a term to expire on
December 31, 1982.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22 day of January, 1981.

At the regularly scheduled meeting of the Miami F.O.P., Lodge 920,
held on December 17, 1980, there was nominations to the Pension Board for
the seat now filled by Donald F. March.
There being no opposition to Donald F. March as Pension Board Representative,
we would greatly appreciate your reappointing Mr. March to that vacancy.
