Resolution -
Greater Miami Women's
Golf Association
It is recommended that Greater Miami
Women's Golf Association be oranted a
waiver of green fees May 11, 1981, at
the Miami Country Club in Miami Springs
and July 22, 1981 at the Melreese Golf
Course, as in past years in conducting
annual tournaments, as per the attached
Resolution.
The Greater 'Miami Women's Golf Association has requested a waiver of
green fees for their annual tournament at the City of Miami Country
Club in 'Miami Springs May 11, 1981, and at the Melreese Golf Course
July 22, 1981.
In the past we have granted this.gr.oup use of the golf course, man-
datory electric carts with free green fees, with the agreement of
purchasing all awards through the Pro Shop. This has been a practice
at many of the private courses as well as several municipal courses
in the Greater Miami area. The oroup normally plays between 60 to 80
women and do support our golf courses throughout thu ;rear.
It is, therefore, the recommendation of this Department of Leisure
Services that the request of the greater Miami 1tiomen's Golf Association
for the waiver of green frees, for the above mentioned dates, be granted
as per the attached Resolution.
