APPROVAL OF TENTATIVE PLAT E1102-A "DOWNTOWN
GOVERNMENT CENTER".
IWHEREAS, the Miami Zoning Board, at its meeting of Janu-
ary 19, 1981, Item No. 2, following an advertised hearing,
adopted Resolution No. ZB 9-81 by a 4 to 1 vote (2 members
absent) RECOMMENDING DENIAL for the official vacation and
closure of that portion of N.W. lst Court between the North
r-o-w line of N.W. 1st Street and the South r-o-w line of N.W.
3rd Street (+650.42') and between the North r-o-w line of N.W.
3rd Street and the South r-o-w line of N.W. 4th Street (+300.2l'),
also, N.W. 2nd Street between the East r-o-w line of N.W. 2nd
Avenue and the West r-o-w boundary of the FEC Railway Station
Site (+449.98'), as a condition for approval of Tentative Plat
#1102-A "DOWNTOWN GOVERNMENT CENTER"; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it advisable and in the
best interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami and
its inhabitants to grant the vacation and closure as hereinafter
set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That portion of N.W. 1st Court between the North
r-o-w line of N.W. 1st Street and the South r-o-w line of N.W.
3rd Street (+650.42') and between the North r-o-w line of N.W.
3rd Street and the South r-o-w line of N.W. 4th Street (+300.211),
also, N.W. 2nd Street between the East r-o-w line of N.W. 2nd
Avenue and the West r-o-w boundary of the FEC Railwav Station Site

In response to the recent verbal request from the City of Mia;ni

Planning and Zoning Board staff on the AM peak: hour traffic
impact eastbound on N14 South River Drive at N14 17 Avenue for a
100 unit residential developerent on this site, the ne:w
generated traffic is projected to be approximately 30 trips
compared to the existing 120 eastbound AM peak hour trips.
On examination of our most recent count at this intersection,
it appears si9naIization would be ;warranted under Warrant 2
No Special Conditions; however, a signal warrant study
rust be performed for actual determination.
