It is recommended that the City
Commission adopt a resolution
appointing one individual to the
City of Miami/University of Miami
James L. Knight International Center
Advisory Committee.
At the March li, 1981 City Commission Meeting, Neil Schiff and Lon Worth Crow, Jr.
were appointer to serve a second term on the City of Miami/University of Miami
James L. Knight International Center Advisory Committee as representatives of the
University of Miami.
There presently exist one vacancy on the above referenced Committee which was
created by the expiration of term of Melvin Gordon, a City of Miami representative.
It is recommended that the City Commission make an appointment to fill the present
vacancy.

At the March 17, 1981 City Commission Meeting, two appointments were made
to the City of Miami/University of Miami James L. Knight International
Center Advisory Committee. The individuals appointed, Mr. Neil Schiff
and Mr. Lon Worth Crow, Jr. serve as representatives of the University of
Miami and are serving a second term of office.
There presently exists 1 vacancy which was created by the expiration of
term of Mr. Melvin Gordon, a City of Miami reprentative. The appointment
to fill this vacancy is scheduled for the April 9, 1981 City Commission
MeeL ng. Please provide the names and resumes of your nominees to Angela
Bellamy of my staff no later than Noon, Friday, April 3, 1981.

Commission, the University of Miami Board of
